WOW July Challenge

We are now halfway through winter and on the upwards climb back to the warmer months. But as we are still having cold days and nights, there is no excuse not having a go at the Colour Challenge for July.

This challenge is super easy. Simply use the colours in the inspiration piece from Design Seeds to create a project - scrapbook page, card, OTP... Just don't forget to use a Words or Whatever product somewhere on there too. It can be chipboard, wood veneer, mdf, altaMATZ or altaWORDS.

Here is my DT sample using the Cogs Large Corners WOW1522

I have also included 2 of the awesome Jasmine Puffy Flourishes from Flourish With a Bling how cool are these layered over each other and I have also used some of the Adhesive Pearls

My Week of WOW

WOW what a week I have to share with you tonight I am going to share a piece of WOW chipboard that I just adore its the Horse Carousel WOW 1144 it is just perfect for  a baby layout or for a small toddler layout. I have used a gold shimmer paint to cover it and then added some bling just to jazz it up a fraction more.

I have also used one of last months new release Altamatz  12 x 12 Hearts In A Row Alta 154 I just love this Altamatz what I have done is taken a pot of modelling paste and started to fill the hearts I wanted and then dragged a paddle pop stick through it to remove some pasted and this made the ridges which I then highlighted with gold shimmer paint.

I will now share my layout with you.

Thank you for looking and I will share more this week with you. Don't forget to check out the new WOW items at your local stockist.

Flourish With A Bling Tutorial - as Time Goes By

I would like to start my first tutorial with a big thank you to the fabulous ladies from FWAB for selecting me to be on this amazing team working with this awesome product.

You will find something the FWAB range that suits absolutely any layout you are attempting.

Today I am  showing how I used the Trent’s Fence from the Outdoor range and the Jack’s Vine to create this fabulous Layout along with the stunning papers from the mid season release from Glitz Designs Sunshine in My Soul.

I started by collecting my papers and choose a black background page and the timber look page which I ripped into 5-6 stripes with the white edge up I then adhered these to the black background page so that it looks like this

I then start taking other pages and adding them to the layers I have already created and adding my photo

I have also looked at this and feel it needed a little more texture and added some self adhesive mesh.
Then I started to add my FWAB embellishments and flowers to the lay out as well as some stickers

I then have gone on to add a title to the layout I felt that the Jack vine and the rusty look of the Trent fence worked well with the papers and the photo I have used.

Thank you for allowing to share this tutorial with you you could create any style of layout using the above steps and the FWAB products

We are hopping from blog to blog to learn all about chipboard and to get inspired with awesome tutorials and layouts loaded with chippies!

So let’s start with a tutorial:

Wet Embossing of Chipboard.
Hi all today I am going to explain  how to wet emboss chipboard take your raw hippies and your versa ink pad and ink the chippie well where you want the embossing powder to stick. I am using WOW's  title Mum and Body Form which you can purchase from  Scrapping Outback.

Now take your embossing powder and cover the inked chippie well make sure you don't waste time getting the powder on  you can now heat emboss this or sit aside to do later.

You will need a heat gun with chipboard to set it and never use a hairdrier you will blow the powder off.

Its starts to be come clossy and change colour as it heats. ang there's how simple it is to do heat embossing.
