Happy - The Robins Nest

Hello all today I am sharing with another LO that I have created using the awesome products from The Robin's Nest.

To create this LO you will need the following Robin's Nest products;

1 x sheet of Airplane cardstock
1 x sheet of Rocking Horse Specialty paper
1 x sheet of Spa Canvas stock
2 x packet of Blue flowers
1 x Title Happy Azure Glitter Chipboard

Take the Rocking Horse specialty paper and distress the edges
Take the airplane paper and cut down to be 11 x 11 and roll the corners and glue in place as per image below.

Take the Blue Flowers and scrunch together and glue then add to the LO as per images above and below.

Take the canvas cardstock and cut a square that is 6 x 6 and add to the centre of the LO then add your photo.

To add the title I just stapled it on below the photo.

I hope you have enjoyed my share today, I look forward to seeing it again.

A Boys Story is the Best that is Ever Told - Scrappingclearly

Today  I am sharing with on the blog an awesome mini album made with one of Scrappingclearly's acrylic albums. I have used the train and it has worked just perfectly for the photos of my nephew.

These albums are fabulous for using lots of photo's as you will see from mine. I just love how well the Prima metal cogs have worked as wheels

I have also used Hambly overlays and rubon's through out the album, I have also used one of the album pages to cut the shape if my Hambly and papers.

I just love how the acrylic and hambly lets you see through the album and by cutting your papers to half the size you add another layer of dimension.

They are also an awesome way to use up any stickers you may have.

I have also cut my photos smaller and back to back them to add another layer.

And you can see from this page the Happy sticker is carrying through from the inside front cover and still working with this photo.

I just love how well the elements work like this cog.

And finally the back cover I have used a Hambly rubon as part of the back cover.

Thank you for looking and I hope I have inspired you.

1234567890 Super Star

Hello its Kim again today sharing what I have done with you a layout that I have created using the Mouse Circle Paper Paper and a sheet of Blue Alphabet Stickers from  The Robins Nest.

So how do you get an awesome LO using just 2 pieces of matching paper and a set of alpha stickers, the answer is you simple make sure you can cut the elements on the paper out as embellishments.

So here is my LO and the simple instructions to create it.

So to make this LO you will take a sheet of the Mouse Circle paper and cut a mat to fit your photo using the corner so you have a red boarder along the left and top side of your photo the cut the same from another corner to the the same on the other 2 sides of your photo.

Then from a section of the yellow cut a tag to add to the left hand side of the LO and tuck it under the photo slightly. Then from the remainder of the paper cut out sections of the circles and stars and tuck in around the matted photo as per image of LO. Then add your Title and your LO is finished.

You can see a bit better how I have cut the circle and stars and tucked them in from the below photo.

Thank you for stopping and looking at my LO I hope it has inspired you to create a similar LO

Getting A Little Messy

Morning everyone today Lisa is having a day off posting her mixed media day and has handed the reins to me. I am sharing a page or 2 from my art journal with you that I have created, using many of the mixed media items in the Scrappingclearly Shop.

First up today is a page where i have created a dream catcher I created the background using Dylusions Paints and lots of bits and pieces I had lying around.

I just love who vibrant the colours are of the Dylusion paint it is just amazing. As you can see ihave used lots of bits and pieces to create my catcher.

I am also sharing a page I have created using The Crafters Workshop stencils Glimmer Mists and silk paint paint but you could use the new Prima paints just as well the random stamping adds to the feel of this page and the feeling of depth.

As you can see below i have shadow stamped an image of a person into the stencil body.

And this image just shows how the random mixing stamping paints and mists can work so well togther.

I hope you have enjoyed what I have shared with you today.
Thank you for dropping by Kim.
