Hello Ruby Rock-It fans, welcome to 2019 today I am sharing with you a layout created using the some of the papers from the amazing Botanical collection
The Botanical collection is awesome It is a very pretty and soft range featuring foliage and birds.
Botanical collection CHE15- Paperworld Botanical Foliage, CHE46- Paperworld Botanical Perch, CHE60- Paperworld Botanical Montage, white cardstock, Inks from Jane Davenport, script stamp of choice.
Method:
I have cut a rectangle dark green foliage piece from the Botanical Montage sect and also cut one from the Botanical Perch, from the Botanical Foliage page I have cut some maiden hair fern foliage, from the Montage sheet I have cut the flowers and toad stools I want and a butterfly and lastly from the Perch sheet I cut a small bird.
I have then stamped with the script stamp onto the white cardstock as below image shows the I have placed the rectangular pieces on the center of my white cardstock slightly off center to each other (See image below).
Then I have layered the cut out selection of toadstools flowers and foliage as per below image using 3D foam mounting tape.
I have then covered over my photo and splatter with the inks.
When it was all finished I used some Gesso and a spatula to drag a light coating of Gesso over the images to add a snow like effect.
I hope you have enjoyed my blog post and found it inspiring. Kim
