Stuck on You Sketches January Challenge

Happy New Year everyone!

 

Are you ready for Stuck on You Sketches first challenge of 2014!

(And officially the first time having to write 2014...Whoa!)

We hope that wether or not you celebrated the night

in a big way or went to bed early as we did in my house,

that you had a fun and safe evening!

So, how about resolutions this new year?

The one resolution that matters the most? Scrapping more!

Flourish With A Bling January 2014 Challenge

Happy New Year to everyone I hope that 2014 is bright, happy and prosperous year for all. January is my month to provide you with an awesome challenge over at Flourish With A Bling and while looking for a challenge I decided to choose a colour combination that would challenge us all and I have chosen the yummy marshmallow colours soft yet vibrant would be a good description don’t forget when working with colours you always need to have a zinger colour mine has been an apricot as you will see.

I have chosen to do a picture frame to share with you all it has two 6 x 4 frames and a 5 x 7 frame which in its self was a challenge it was all white so I have picked out certain elements of the moldings on the frame with pastel marshmallow coloured paints, then added some lace and of cause flowers and some awesome FWAB.

I think my biggest challenge is how to photograph it, so please forgive the odd angels for the photography but it was rather difficult to photograph.

I hope you like what I have created here is a close up of the flower cluster with the awesome Elsie Flourish and Flower set in Silver and Pink Flowers I have cut the flourish up to use it.
