In My Garden Clearsnap & Susan K Weckesser Blog Take Over

Hello and welcome to my blog takeover post from the Susan K Weckesser design team, my name is Kim Kendell and I am from Australia. I am so excited to be sharing with you how awesome the Susan K Weckesser Colorbox Color Pop Dye Ink Pads work the the Susan K Weckesser stamps and papers.

I have created a simple yet effective card that can be used for many different occasions, below is my card.

I just love how easy it was to use the Susan K Weckesser Colorbox Color Pop Dye Ink Pads to color the stamped image. How I did this was to use a makeup sponge and dabbed it onto the stamp pad then on to my stamped image.

What products have I used to create this card are listed below;

Susan Weckesser and Mixed Media

Hello everyone its been a while since I blogged but I have been super busy doing bits and pieces today i am sharing with you an art journal page I have completed using the amazing stamps and pattern paper from Susan Weckesser.

I just loved the The Happy Homestead stamp, In circle me stamp and the the Live in Colour pattern paper.

I have completed lots of layers before taking the The Homestead stamp and stamping on to tissue paper and then using gel medium to adhere it to my page and then I took the flowers from the Live in Colour paper and cut them out and clustered them into the bottom corner of my LO. I have also used the In Circle Me stamp and just rolled it up and randomly inked across my page as you will from some of the close images.

You can see how I have randomly stamped using the In Circle Me stamp from the below image.

Below show how I have used the Live in Colour pattern paper to make the collage of flowers,

And this final image shows the effect you achieve by stamping onto the tissue paper using the Happy Homestead stamp,

Susan Weckesser and A Little Bit Tickled pink

Hi Everyone its Kim here again sharing a simple yet effective card I have made using the amazing papers from Susan Weckesser.

To Make this card I have used the following products plus some soft tulle

You just take an ordinary kraft blank card and cut a piece of the Color Burst pattern paper to be 1/4 of an inch smaller than the front then adhere with double sided tape then take the Live in Color Tags and cut out the Tickled pink one and adhere with foam mounting tape on one side then lay the tulle under so it pocks out the top and the bottom then adhere the other side of the tag down with double sided foam tape and there is your pretty and simple quick card.

I hope you have enjoyed my share.

My Garden in an Art Journal

Hello everyone today is my day to share with you an art journal page inspired from my garden. My garden is a rather large one with lots of space I will share a picture or two below with you.

The art journal I have decided to use is a 5 x 7 one which is an awesome size with the stamps I have elected to use which are the beautiful In my Garden set.

I have also used a selection of pink blue and green paint along with gesso the awesome Susan K Weckesseer Stamp Pads (these are just an awesome size)

So how have I created my page firstly I painted the page pink and blue, all very random and every where don't be afraid to use your fingers to smear the paint.

I then let that dry and added some gesso

I then smeared some green paint on the page but forgot to take a picture

So then I took a black stamp pad and the stamps and just randomly stamped all over the page with flowers which I feel is how my garden is lots of randomness.

I then took the awesome Susan K Weckesseer Stamp Pads  and a water colour brush and coloured some of the flowers all very randomly.

this is my finished page

Now to share a picture of my inspiration with you, this was from spring last year.

I hope you have enjoyed my blog post and I will be back later in the month to share another page inspired by my garden

Mixed Media and Chipboard

Hello every one and welcome to my design team post. Today I am going to share with you all a page from my art journal page where I have incorporated chipboard to give some depth to the page. I hope that you like my creation.

As you can see from this close up i have left the chipboard raw and allowed the inks paints and spays to colour the chipboard.

I have used 2 flourish boarders and placed them facing each other to frame my word.

This is the whole page  completed

And the final double page  of the journal

I have used the following memory Maze Chipboard on my creation

A little Bit of News

How exciting is to be apart of this amazing team at Susan Weckesser Inc.

Gelato's, Paint, Stamps and Stencil's

Good afyernoon everyone and welcome to my Scrappingclearly DT blog post. Today I am sharing some mixed media creations that have been inspired by Tiare Smith 's amazing work. I have used the the following amazing products from Scrappingclearly's awesome shop Ceramcoat Paint, Gelatos, Dylusions Stamps and The Crafters Work Shop stencils.

I just love the intensity of the pigment in the Gelato's and the more you layer the colours and blend them the greater the depth of colour achieved.

You can see from the snapshot the depth of the colour.

The small 4" x 4" stencil from The Crafters Workshop is just awesome for art journaling, I have used a white paint pen from Dylusions to highlight around the silhouette and it has just popped it so well and defined the image.

I have loved the way this page worked and the intensity of it. So many different  stamps also used.

For my second share I have used lots of different paints available from Scrappingclearly I have used Ceramcoat, Dylysions and Dina Wakely's and as you can see they have all blended exceptionally well together. As well as various stamps from the Scrappingclearly range.

On this page I have used all the above products again and just adore how it has all come together.

I would like to give credit for the inspiration of these pages to the Bad Ass Art journaling classes.

I hope you have enjoyed my share with you for today i will also be sharing my take on the moodboard later today, please come back for another look.

Kim
