Guest Designer for Susan K Weckesser Inc - USA

Hello everyone today I am going to share my final layout with you for my guest designer position with Susan K Weckesser Inc., I have used the fabulous Live in Colour papers. for this layout I have used all the elements from the Beautiful Daydreams paper and foam mounted them to give dimension to the layout I have also used all the left over pieces to to create a layered effect under my photo

Remember When........... at Scrappers Garden

Hello today I am sharing a simple layout that I have created for Scrappers Garden the papers and the flowers just worked together so well

And I have also used the lovely Peony and Cabbage Flowers, how well do they fill in the gaps

Susan K Weckesser Inc Guest DT

This month I am honored to be the guest designer for the amazing Susan K Weckesser Inc, these papers are amazing papers they are 65lb and 100% recycled paper and double sided I was really impressed with the quality of the papers and the colours in them.

For my 1st share this month I have created the following LO I have used the Live in Colour Collection to create this layout.

To create this layout I have used the following papers and stamp set.

I just love this awesome Romance papers from Paper House Productions They have worked so well with this photo. I have also used a selection of embellishment from the various wedding ranges

Simplicity is Beautiful - FWAB DT Blog Post

Today is my DT day to share on the Flourish With a Bling Blog I am sharing a layout that I have created on my beautiful niece's wedding and i feel that the photo was best suited to a simple yet elegant layout.

I have used randomly placed pearls in blue just to highlight the splatters of mist I have used.

As you can see from the close up I have used different sizes to also help create dimension in the layout.

Another GDT for Scrappers Garden

I have been loving using these awesome flowers from Scrappers Garden they are a perfect size and the colours are amazing.

Srcappers Garden Guest DT - Wedding Day

Hello everyone I am so excited about being a guest design team member for Scrappers Garden, I just love the flowers and how versatile they are to use. I have created a layout on my nieces wedding and have used lots of layering and lots of awesome flowers to showcase the photo.

Memory Maze DT Share

Hi well winter is now officially here even though it has been fairly mild here. Today I am sharing with a LO with a photo of winter in Paris in 1975 I just loved my time there.

And for my final share I would like to share a layout that Sally designed the chipboard for me to use yes did you know that sally will custom make chipboard to suit your needs.

I have used chipboard here to make the all my embellishments and have used metallic ink and rub on creams to make them look like metal how awesome does it look.

I have also layered the chipboard to achieve dimension on the layout.

Paper House Productions

I have completed a layout for Paper House Productions using a range that I thought I would never use but it has worked so well with my photo and the papers have such an earthy feel to them
I have used the Lowlands Camo Paper as the background with the Duck Blind Paper over it. And then the Duck Hunting Cardstock stickers as accents. Don't you just love how the ducks are popped up!?

Instructions for Travel Memory File
Requirements
1 Sheet of 12 x 12 paper United States Map – East
1 Sheet of 12 x 12 paper United States Map - West
2 Sheet of 12 x 12 paper Grand Cannon left side or right side
1 Sheet of 12 x 12 paper Stable Wall  
1 packet of Road Trip Cardstock Stickers
1 packet of Road Trip Epoxy Stickers
1 Packet of Road Trip Canvas Stickers
1 Packet of Road Trip 3D Stickers
1 Packet of Road Trip Chalkboard Stickers
2 banners 1x 12inches long 1x 8 inches long 
1 x A4 File folder of your choice you can cut down a foolscap one to A4
5 foot of cream ribbon or seam binding
1 12 x 12 Hambly overlay 
Calico Lace 
Old Buttons

Tools 

Normal tool kit
Xyron Tape runner 
Xyron Glue Stick
Xyron Sticker Maker

Steps 
1. Take your file folder and the United States Map papers and line the inside covers of the file folder and cut off the excess paper. Now on the outside front cover I have added the long sticker from the cardstock sticker sheet across the top and then added 2 banners and the road trip 3D sticker as well as the are we there yet sticker.

2. Take the 12 x 12 sheets of Grand Cannon Paper and adhere them together back to front. Now cut 2 x 5 x 12 inch pieces. Take one and fold at 5 inch mark and score with the next piece fold and score at 4 inch mark. 

To make into folder stack the page folded at the 4 inch mark on the bottom and the 5 inch on top so that when folded in ½ they layer so you can see the layer to join together on the score line punch 2 holes 2 inches apart thread through some ribbon and on the outside tie a bow. Now on the back add tape and adhere to the inside cover of your memory file in the center.  

3. Take your Hambly over lay and cut to be 12 x 6 inches fold and score in half

4. Take the stable wall paper and cut a piece that is 10 x 8 and adhere this to the inside of the back cover in the center. I have also added some lace and calico as well as a calico bow to help dress the page

Now cut a piece that is 8 x 4 inches fold and score in ½ so it become approx. 4 x 4

Now lay this piece inside the Hambly overlay and lay both in the center of the memory file and punch 2 holes on the score line and tie together with ribbon with the bow on the outside of the memory file 

5. Now you need to print photos of your trip and add them to the pages and embellish as desired using the packets of embellishments.

6. You are now finished your memory file

Tip you can use scraps of fabric and lace to also decorate the memory file
